Using the Office => Open menu, select the "sample_firstMap.xlsx" file and click "Open".
(If the file is hidden, do the next: My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Advanced Settings > Hidden files and folders. Tick in the box "Do not show hidden files and folders".)
This file contains the following columns :
CODE : the two-digit code for every state. This code is also called "Geographical code" as it will allow MapInXL to make a correspondance between your data and the boundaries map of the states
NAME : the name of every state.
CUSTOMERS : the number of customers in every state.
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS : the global number of prospective customers in every state. This value includes the number of customers.
CUSTOMERS RATE : the percentage of customers included into prospective customers.
